Hello Eastporters! I am overwhelmed with the number of neighbors helping neighbors with this icy and heavy snow. It is a great example of what Eastport is all about. Hello Neighbors! This snow storm continues to be disruptive. The city staff continues to be focused on recovery efforts and I commend their efforts! The Snow Emergency Routes in Eastport are mostly passable. The connecting roads are getting there and the plows have hit most of the other roads. If your road has not been plowed or if you have any other problems, the most direct way to get action is to call the Emergency Operations Center at (410) 260-2211 and inform them of the

But all sidewalks are important - we don’t want people slipping and falling. A quick update: Because of the ice and weight of the snow, the city will not hand out citations tomorrow but will be giving out warnings. But having said that, we are Eastporters, and let’s do th

Hello Eastport! 1. Major Snow/Ice Storm Is Coming Tonight. The weather forecasters are predicting a major storm, but as it is for snowstorms in the Annapolis area, it is hard to predict how much snow and, in this case, the mix of snow and ice. The forecasters are also predicting freezing temperatures for a week after this storm, meaning that the snow and ice will stay around for a while. This storm will be disruptive. 2. City Has Been Preparing: The City staff has worke
