Office of the Ombudsman (Tiyana Parker) The Ombudsman serves as a neutral resource for constituent concerns. Please contact this office if you need help navigating a city service or have questions/concerns about a service. 

Public Works (DPW) & Infrastructure For immediate service requests regarding water/sewer, trash, potholes, or street lights, please use the City’s tracking systems directly: 

  • Report an Issue: Submit a Problem Portal is for complaints about urgent issues related to City services or City-owned property. If there's a pothole on your street or your trash wasn't picked up, you should report the issue with Submit a Problem.

Second, report it to Annapolis Public Works at 410-263-7949 or email at pubworks@annapolis.gov or online at https://anncit123.portal.iworq.net/portalhome/anncit123 

Planning, Zoning & Permits (PZ) For permit status, code enforcement, or zoning inquiries, please contact the department directly to ensure your request enters their internal review queue: 

  • Permit & Code Portal: Anna311 Portal is for less urgent issues relating to private property and for obtaining permits and licenses. If your neighbor has an overgrown yard that's blocking the sidewalk or you want permission to raise chickens in your backyard, you should use Anna311.
